Statistics in Schools Week: Free Activities Statistics in Schools: Everyone Counts! Week is March 2-6. FCPS is supporting the 2020 Census by encouraging students and teachers to use free U.S. Census Bureau activities focused on statistics. Each activity also highlights the importance of a complete census count, which helps fund our schools. Census postcards will arrive via U.S. Mail in mid-March. Safety Tipline Report safety issues online or by text message using the Safety Tipline. You may choose to identify yourself or remain anonymous. Civic Engagement Absences Parents of students in grades 7-12 may request one partial-day absence for civic engagement activities, such as legislative visits, awareness walks, nonprofit support, or advocacy efforts by submitting a prearranged absence form.
